Alephactory Press, based in Seattle, is an independent publishing house and literary collective with a simple mission: to publish the strange, prescient, unsettling, controversial, and hybrid. We believe in collaboration as a fundamental tool of art. We equally weight pathos, logos, eros, and fart jokes. We publish authors who don’t just think outside the box, but step outside the box, deconstruct the box, and light it on fire for science, for protest, for love.
Alephactory is named after the aleph, the first Greek letter and the subject of the eponymous Borges story, which describes a point in space where one can witness the infinite totality of experience. We're a factory for that.
